Get ready to step back in time at this year’s Renaissance Day on Saturday, April 20th – 21st! This annual event, sponsored by MaxxSouth Broadband and hosted by the Tishomingo County Historical & Genealogical Society (TCHGS), takes place at the Old Courthouse Museum in Iuka. The purpose is to celebrate the unique culture and history during this time period with family and friends! Visitors are encouraged to dress time period appropriate and spend the day participating in onsite activities. This activates will include: gospel and country music, camp fire cooking, pottery making, Miss Renaissance Day Pageant, an antique car show and much more! Also, there will be arts and crafts vendors on hand offering merchandise related to the period.
Admission to the festival is free, so come early and stay late because you won’t want to miss this!
