United Way of North Central Mississippi kicks off their campaign for the 2018 allocation year with their first Run United 5K on September 23rd! MaxxSouth was proud to participate in the 5K Run that promotes healthy living for the community of Starkville.
United Way is based on three building blocks, which include education, health and income. The race is an opportunity to show emphasis on the block of health. Along the route of the race, the 15 agencies supported by United Way were stationed to cheer on the participants to show their support and gratitude for those in the Oktibbeha County community. Donations to each of these agencies is extremely important because they all rely on the money. The race will provide an opportunity to help fund the agencies where it’s necessary.
