Join us at the Strawberry Plains Audubon Center for the 18th Annual Hummingbird Migration and Nature Celebration on September 8th through the 10th! MaxxSouth teamed up with the Audubon Center to help promote what is said to be one of the largest nature festivals in the Southeast!

People from all over will flock to the festival which offers a rare opportunity to watch one of natures most fascinating creatures. The small birds always come back to the Strawberry Plains because it is on their route as they head south for the winter.

Highlights include guest speakers, guided nature walks, live animal shows, wagon rides, a kids activity zone, a native plant sale as well as up-close views of Ruby-throated Hummingbirds being banded and released!
