Lace up your running shoes, and join MaxxSouth Broadband June 11th as the Lady Devils Softball Team hosts a 5K Color Fun Run/Walk at Wayne Michael Field in Booneville City Park! There will be five color stations along this 3.1 mile course, and free water will be provided by MaxxSouth Broadband at a tent located in front of the MaxxSouth Operations Center along the race route. Participants are invited to run, jog, or walk at their own pace!

“We want this to be something for everyone,” said Lady Devil coach and event organizer Tommy Fraiser. “This is going to be a lot of fun, and we’d like to invite everyone, young or old, local or from out of town, to take part!”

The money raised from the race will go towards the purchase of uniforms and other equipment for the Booneville Lady Devils High School Slowpitch Softball Team.

The cost to enter is $25 per adult and $10 per school age student with a paying adult. Children 4 and under can participate free with an adult. Free T-shirts will be included with your entry if you sign up and pay before June 4th. Bring early entries to the Booneville High School office. Registration is at 7:00 AM the day of the race, with the race starting at 8:00 AM. Trophies for 1st and 2nd place will be given to the top men and women finishers, as well as the 11-18 and 10 and under age groups.
