Sit on the banks of the Tallahatchie River and enjoy quality time with your family at this year’s Tallahatchie Riverfest. MaxxSouth is proud to join USA Today’s winner for America’s Best Southern Town, New Albany, in kicking off the fall season!
This year’s fest will be a combination of carnival rides, arts and crafts, as well as music by none other than Diamond Rio. Starting on October 5th and ending on October 7th, there will be fun for everyone. Friday, at 7:30 PM, Terry Harmonica Bean, will be kicking off the musical entertainment for the weekend, followed soon after by The Wayward Kin.
Saturday’s line up is jam packed with family fun. The BNA Tallahatchie River “Fun” Run begins at the historic Union County Courthouse at 8:00 AM. Make a picnic for lunch, and enjoy musical sets by The Boomers and Hannah Bell! Let’s see who has the best pet costume at the “Dress Your Pet” parade beginning at 4:00 PM at the Tanglefoot Trailhead. Headliner’s Diamond Rio will be performing at 8:30 PM.
