There was no shortage of finger foods, mint juleps, wild hats, and seersucker suits at this month’s Juleps & Jockeys event, hosted by the United Way of Oxford and Lafayette County!  Kentucky Derby Fans literally held on to their hats in the strong winds that threatened to wreak a bit of havoc at the event early on, but the gusts eventually calmed down for what turned into a beautiful Saturday afternoon.  Participants were treated to live music, silent and live auctions, games, and more in the lead up to the Derby itself.  When all was said and done, Always Dreaming trotted away as the winner of the 143rd Kentucky Derby.

The celebration, held at Oak Hill Stables, did a fantastic job mirroring the atmosphere and feel of the Derby and Churchill Downs!  MaxxSouth Broadband was on hand to capture these photos from the event.  Click to enlarge!
